The initiative to build one of Forsyth County’s newest elementary schools gave Walter Robbs the opportunity to show that an elementary school can be much more than simply a collection of adjacent classrooms where our youngest students learn. The airy, two-story facility we designed incorporates numerous features that help set a positive tone for students as they embark on a lifetime of learning.

And it’s not just the students who are affected by the building’s design. Teachers, administrators, parents, volunteers and visitors are simultaneously uplifted by the open, light-filled structure. The community of Clemmons has also benefitted as Morgan Elementary is the first stage of the Village Point development that has brought a new medical center and, in time, additional retail, commercial and recreational opportunities to the area.
